Global Controlling Manager
Location: Airport City, Israel
Key Accountabilities
Establish, manage and enforce policies, processes and activities for Controlling operations globally to ensure compliance & accuracy, taking into consideration requirements across all countries and driving global consistency.
Manage Regional Controlling Managers to ensure monthly, quarterly, annual close processes and country-level statutory reporting.
Lead the regional statutory reporting teams and oversee all accounting & external financial reporting matters, ensuring timely and accurate report preparation and compliance with local accounting regulations
Maintain & own Controller document database including standard chart of accounts, master data, policy manual, reporting instructions, templates, etc.
Work with Global Tax & Global Treasury teams to align local and global tax reporting requirements and provisions across the regions to maximize cashflow.
Process Improvement and Standardization
Standardize and streamline financial reporting processes across different regions and countries.
Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements in financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis.
Ensure consistent use of global financial tools and systems, promoting best practices and driving operational efficiencies.
Team Leadership and Development
Manage Regional Controlling Managers including accountability for hiring, motivating & developing the professional skills of the global controlling team members.
Create a results-oriented high-performance culture, generating teamwork and a positive, cooperative environment between all global Controlling team members.
Provide ongoing training to ensure the team’s professional capabilities are aligned with reporting requirements and business needs.
Reporting Relationships
Reports to: Global Head of Controlling and Accounting
Direct Reports: Regional Controlling Managers
Indirect Reports: Country Controllers
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have the following set of experiences and skills:
10-15 years of experience leading accounting in a global company with hands on experience in operational finance
Experience with accounting processes at business operational level (not just HQ)
Experience leading large finance change projects, an advantage.
Experience leading global multi-location teams of significant size with complex hierarchies.
Experience in a top auditing firm
Experience and familiarity working with large global ERP systems
Fluent English and Hebrew
Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
